Ideally located for exploring the Cotswolds; One Spring Lake is a New England style lodge in the heart of the Cotswold Waterpark. The waterpark is made up of 150 lakes over an area of 40 square miles.
The lodge provides comfortable self catering accommodation for up to six people. The decking provides uninterrupted views across the lake, a great spot to take in the wonderful sunsets. Spring Lake is lucky enough to have its own Brasserie and watersports centre on site. The Brasserie screens live sport and sometimes live music! (Please note that the Brasserie has been closed during the winter for the last two years, so worth checking ahead if you are visiting us during this period). Housed in the same building as the Brasserie is Lakeside Ski & Wake, where you can learn to wakeboard or waterski (March to October). They also have fun inflatables and ringos. Great fun for all. Above the Brasserie is a gym that guests can use for a fee, payable at Reception. A children's play area with equipment is opposite the Brasserie. The green areas around the lodges are all shared, plenty of room for playing games. Fishing is permitted at the lake but please be aware of the resident wildlife and the speedboats! If you enjoy fishing then the Waterpark is definitely the place for you. As well as being able to fish on Spring Lake, there are many local lakes that offer angling day tickets - Walter's Lake is the closest (with onsite Waterside Cafe), walkable but perhaps not with all your gear!
Along the Spine Road you can find South Cerney Outdoor Education Centre with paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing and sailing activities. The Devere Cotswold Waterpark hotel, if you fancy a spa treat, you can book one here. The Old Boathouse restaurant and bar, their decking overlooks the lake. There is also a small cafe next door called the Muddy Duck, with a smaller decking area. Next door is the Gateway Centre, which houses the Relish Cafe and the Cotswold Waterpark Information Centre. A great spot to stop for a refuelling break if you have been out on one of the many walks within the Cotswold Waterpark. From here you can gain access to the disused Thames & Severn Canal. Next lake up from the Gateway Centre is Lake 86 Cotswold Waterpark Hire. From here you can hire stand up paddleboards, kayaks, canoes and row boats. The place to go if you enjoy outdoor swimming as it has its marked out course designated purely for swimming.
From the end of Spring Lake, you can gain access to the National Cycling Route 45, great for cyclists and walkers alike. A great off road track that takes you miles in both directions. You can join the Thames Path from Route 45, this path starts at the source of Thames and continues all the way to London.
Did you know the Cotswolds has its very own inland beach? A five minute drive or a pleasant cycle ride away, The Cotswold Country Park and Beach has an Aquaventure area, mini golf, swan pedaloes, mini electric boats, kayak and SUP hire, a go kart track, cafe and of course - a beach! Does get busy, book online before you plan to visit.
Cirencester, known as the capital of the Cotswolds is a ten minute drive away where you will find beautiful buildings, shopping and restaurants. Attractions here also include the Corinium Museum, Bathurst Estate and Cirencester Park. Slightly further afield but still within a 30 minute drive you can find the beautiful Cotswold villages of Bibury, Stow on the Wold, Naunton, Bourton on the Water, The Slaughters, Burford, Painswick, Moreton in Marsh and Tetbury. Tetbury being the home of Prince Charles at Highgrove House. Westonbirt Arboretum is also a short drive away, now with a tree top walk. Don't miss Westonbirt in the Autumn when the trees put on an amazing show of colours or in the winter with its Enchanted Christmas event, with an illuminated trail through the trees.

Infants and children are welcome but please bear in mind the lodge is of an open plan nature with the stairs coming straight down into the lounge. There are no stair gates. A fire guard is available for the log burner.
